Our die casting foundry

Deep roots and a strong team

From simple die-cast parts in small runs to components for highly complex processes: With precision and the highest quality standards, our experts are happy to get to work for you. Currently, approximately 60 employees, including our trainees, work in our die casting foundry, providing us with industrial and commercial support. As trainers, we ensure that Schlicht Druckguss will continue to have the skilled workers it so urgently needs in the years to come. Because we regularly invest in the latest die casting processes and the successive expansion of our capacities, Schlicht Druckguss is today ideally equipped for the future. For many years, our company has also been active in international business and supplies customers from all over Europe.

The roots of our die casting foundry go back to 1948, when the native of Berlin and company founder Eberhard Schlicht set up his own business with a small team in Holzminden. Initially specialising in the production of zinc die-cast parts, the company has continuously expanded its range of die-casting services over the years.

In 1980, the company was sold to Aktuell Druckguß GmbH, Holzminden, which ensured the company's continuous development. Work processes were optimised, state-of-the-art die casting machines were purchased and new technologies were tested.

Naturally, we also discovered the digitally supported production of aluminium die-cast parts and thus expanded our know-how and manufacturing possibilities – from casting or toolmaking to the area of mechanical machining.

Schlicht Druckguss became a recognised partner to many internationally active companies.

The structural change in many industries, which has been accelerating since the start of the war in Ukraine in 2022, called for a new strategic market orientation. Since May 2024, the company has undergone extensive restructuring, accompanied by external specialists. In the spring of 2025, company shares were sold to new investors as part of a share deal. The new shareholder structure now stands for continuity, stability and reliability. The entire restructuring process will be completed in September 2025.
